01 Origin

Illustration of coffee farms across mountains and valleys

Brazil, Ethiopia, Colombia. Why not add Yunnan to the origins you look for when choosing coffee? In southwest China's Yunnan province, coffee farms spread along mountain slopes and river valleys. Pu'er, Baoshan and Dehong each bring different elevations and climates, giving these coffees a wide range of character.

02 Arabica coffee

Yunnan's “small-grain coffee” is Arabica, the species enjoyed around the world. The name Arabica alone does not determine flavour. Location, variety and the way harvested cherries are processed all matter. In Yunnan, growers select varieties suited to the land and refine processing to bring out each coffee's aromas and flavours.

03 Flavour

Nutty aromas, a cocoa-like finish and a touch of fruity acidity within a rounded body. Some coffees offer floral notes too. Origin, processing and roasting shape the flavours you discover. Start with familiar roasted notes, or seek a brighter, more aromatic cup. Discovering another side of Yunnan can be the beginning of your next coffee.
